As a second-generation Financial Advisor, Jason proudly follows in the footsteps of his father, Jim Heaton, who set the stage for our team back in 1982 at Merrill Lynch. Jason's early career saw him safeguarding clients' assets and honing his financial acumen at The Hartford Insurance Company and State Farm.

In 2012, Jason made a strategic leap to Merrill Lynch. Today, he is the managing partner of the Mission Advisory Group at Raymond James, where he expertly guides our comprehensive wealth management process. His knack for navigating complex financial terrains and his natural talent for building enduring client relationships have cemented his status as a trusted advisor. He believes that continually educating himself is vital to his client’s success. This commitment to learning has been demonstrated through his multiple industry designations.

Born in Ocala, Florida, Jason's ties to North Central Florida run deep. Raised on Lake Weir, he embraced the values of hard work, integrity, and community spirit. Now living in Dunnellon, Jason shares his life with his wife Corinne and their three daughters.

When Jason isn't crunching numbers, he's indulging in a variety of interests. An avid fisherman, he finds peace casting lines in the Gulf of Mexico or the tranquil lakes of Central Florida. But that's just the beginning. Jason and his family spend much of their time on their small farm, raising and showing Zebu cattle. They even take their Zebu to the State Fair to compete every year!

Jason's community involvement goes beyond financial advice. He's an active member of the local 4H group, dedicating his time to mentoring the next generation, teaching them valuable life skills, and fostering leadership. And let's not forget his musical side—Jason finds solace in playing the piano, escaping the daily grind of numbers and charts.
